Our LOOK Care Packages Program sent  over 2000 individual care packages to older children living in orphanages during the period 2005-2010.  These gifts brought joy to these precious children and let them know someone cares about them.  Each care package included some age- and gender-appropriate gifts packaged together for the child's individual use (e.g. a small toy, a baseball cap or hair ribbons/barrettes, a new toothbrush and bar of soap, a pair of chopsticks and a drinking cup, a writing notepad with pens, and/or other similar items).  Each package also included a translated notecard that told the child in both English and Mandarin Chinese that there are people from across the world who were wishing them well, and that encouraged them to apply themselves to their studies.  For more pictures of our care packages and description of the work done, click on the tabs to the left.
We are still collecting donations for our care packages program through the 'I Give' program - - click on the tab to the left.  Also, see the "Friends" tab above and click on 'Project Orphan Blessing' if you would like to also contribute to their fine efforts in sending care packages to needy children in China.
