LOOK Volunteer Co-Directors
Carol Sammeth and Jennifer Hope (see below) started LOOK in 2004 with the help of a few dedicated volunteers, and they have co-directed LOOK's efforts since that time.

Carol A. Sammeth, Ph.D, Centennial, Colorado

Carol volunteers her time as Co-Director of LOOK, with assistance from her husband, Doug Miller.  General questions about LOOK, its history, mission, and projects, should be directed to her.  Carol is an audiologist and regulatory affairs specialist, and Doug is an electrical engineer.  They have been blessed with three beautiful daughters: one born to them in 2000, the second adopted from China in 2003 as an infant, and third adopted in 2007 from China's waiting child program when she was almost 8 years old.  Last summer, the girls manned a lemonade stand and donated the profits to LOOK.

Jennifer Hope, M.F.A., Golden, Colorado

Jennifer volunteers her time as Co-Director of LOOK, coordinating activities of our volunteers and fielding questions about donations and fund-raising opportunities.  Jennifer has been an art professor n the past, but is now a full-time artist.  She is the vice-president of Edge Gallery in Denver, and also runs a small Chinese language school in Golden.  Jennifer and her husband Dennis are shown below, surrounded by their wonderful large and loving family, which includes four grown biological children (two boys and two girls), and four beautiful little girls adopted from China.  Two of their children were adopted as infants or toddlers through China's waiting child program, and one daughter came home from China at 6 years old.
